Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Partner Account Manager in the Carrier & EFM channel who will be responsible for supporting some of Geotab’s largest resellers’ most important projects. This position will support their Sales organizations through a variety of indirect sales efforts. This position is tasked with teaching partner agents to present Geotab to their customers, educating them on the benefits of Geotab’s ecosystem and demonstrating how that aligns to their core business.

What you’ll do:

To be successful in this position, you will need to work in cross functional teams internally at Geotab on large projects with a focus on Government business development, Solutions Engineering, and Data Science. The Partner Account Manager function is responsible for the delivery of budgeted net revenue growth through these sales channels as determined by your leadership.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Retire gross add target of approx 800 subs per month

  • Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual delivery of revenue targets at the reseller through cross functional coordination at both Geotab, the reseller, and the end fleet

  • Increase Geotab net subscribers base the carrier sales channels by identifying new areas for growth and managing initiatives accordingly.

  • Work with the internal Marketplace team to ensure that solutions are being added into new prospects and existing customer base that align with operational objectives.

  • Manage pilots to facilitate prospect’s desired outcomes, provide business justifications to move forward with full implementation.

  • Attend in person client meetings with existing accounts to ensure end user satisfaction and the maximum utilization of the solution through data integration opportunities, custom reporting, and improved alignment to reseller’s core business

  • Ensure that the Geotab Public Sector team is aligned with our resellers on all levels and smart city/state opportunities are identified and bubbled up accordingly.

  • Work to educate our partners on new products and offerings from Geotab’s Data Science organization.

  • Offer technical expertise to reseller network to help close sales; assist with RFPs as required.

  • Attend trade shows and conferences to build company credibility, brand presence, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Liaise with internal teams to share knowledge, insight, and understanding from the reseller network around reseller and end customer satisfaction.

  • Build Geotab credibility, brand value, and trust with resellers.

What you’ll bring to this role
  • 3-5 years experience in technical sales.

  • 3-5 years experience in an account management position with a channel sales organization.

  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree.

  • Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field highly valued.

  • Experience in the telematics industry is a plus.

  • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.

  • Proven track record in developing new sales and accounts.

  • Able to anticipate and understand channel partners’ needs and provide viable solutions.

  • Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining client relationships.

  • Demonstrated success in accurately forecasting account and volume activities, meeting and exceeding goals.

  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.

  • Ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is a requirement.

  • Passport required.
