Who you are
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Junior Account Manager with previous experience in sales and customer facing roles.
What you'll do
As a Junior Account Manager you will develop sales activity within their assigned resellers by presenting solutions to existing and prospective clients. This position will develop a deep knowledge of all Geotab solutions, in order to support reseller technical needs and the reseller’s end customers.
How you'll make an impact
Maximize the opportunities available to our resellers by converting prospects into customers
Maintain technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem and act as the subject matter expert (SME) to help resellers better understand the solutions available to their customer base.
Leverage this knowledge to match prospect needs to product functionality in a product demonstration.
Interact with inbound lead submissions via live chat or website; engage prospects and successfully demonstrate capabilities of Geotab.
Provide thorough, timely, successful resolution to inbound inquiries from support case origin through to completion.
Maintain organizational SLAs on inbound request.
Develop an in-depth understanding of Geotab products, fleet purposes, needs, goals and objectives.
Focus on continuous education to further develop within the firm.
Coach and develop assigned reseller network on Geotab solutions via in-person meetings, platform training, webinars and participation in their customer calls and appointments.
Develop and deliver presentations as requested and provide continuous training and via webinars and in person demonstrations.
Assist the PAMs to gather key reseller and customer information and update Salesforce on a weekly basis.
Manage a sales funnel through the utilization of data tools available with a focus on effective CRM usage.
Work with the Sales Manager to proactively manage the number of resellers and customers in the pipeline in order to meet or exceed sales goals.
Effort to meet and exceed both personal and team goals in net subscriptions.
Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from the reseller network regarding customer needs/challenges.
Align your product pitch to the reseller’s needs and core business.
Participate in sales and channel development strategies to assist the company in optimizing information related to the industry and customer needs.
Build company credibility, brand value, and trust within the assigned reseller network and their customer base.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Geotab products, marketplace products, technology platforms and industry trends that impact the reseller network.
Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring to this role
Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience required.
Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field highly valued.
1-3 years experience in technical sales.
Exceptional verbal and written skills on a native German level and excellent verbal and written English skills.
Dutch, Polish or Swedish would be a plus.
Excellent verbal communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
Excellent written communication skills, able to document technology solutions in precise detail.
Transportation industry knowledge, an understanding of fleet management and telematics preferred.
Channel experience/knowledge preferred.
Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
Strong skills in developing and maintaining client relationships.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
