Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an Associate Product Manager, MyAdmin who will be part of the gel between the Internal Development, Operations, Sales, Finance, Technical Services and Support teams; and will have a keen understanding of what Resellers and Geotab stakeholders need to run their day-to-day operations in MyAdmin. What you'll do:

As a Associate Product Manager, MyAdmin your key area of responsibility will be be able to communicate product requirements from Resellers and internal stakeholders to developers with ease, as well as be able to communicate how stuff works to internal stakeholders. They should be a master at creating user-friendly documentation in conjunction with our awesome Technical Writers and be comfortable delivering training on new features to internal teams. You will need to work closely with both internal Geotabbers as well as external stakholders in this role. To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.

How you'll make an impact
  • Gain expert understanding of the MyAdmin system and user experience, identify product gaps and generate new ideas that improve the system functionality and usability.

  • Participate in product roadmap definition and maintenance.

  • Collect and analyze feedback and requirements from Resellers and internal stakeholders to help define product requirements, features and improvements.

  • Develop training materials and perform demos to educate internal users on new features and improvements.

  • Work closely with technical writers and internal teams to document features and functionality, ensuring that the User Guide, Wikis, Reseller-facing announcements, and other system or process documents (as applicable) are accurate and up to date.

  • Deliver monthly internal communications on upcoming features.

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing of major features and functionality prior to release and gather feedback from our users, and for less-complicated functionality work with internal stakeholders for feature validation prior to release.

What you'll bring to this role
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related field highly valued.

  • 0-2 years experience in product management and/or customer discovery.

  • Experience in a SaaS environment is highly valued.

  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly-evolving environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.

  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Experience with reporting or business analysis a plus.

  • Ability to stitch together disparate insights to uncover common patterns.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.

  • Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.

  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
