Geotab is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist who will build, launch and maintain marketing automation campaigns and initiatives that leverage email, push notifications, and in-app/in-product messaging to drive customer adoption, retention, and value creation throughout the customer and partner lifecycle. What you’ll do

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Automation Manager, you will collaborate with various teams across the company including Product, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement, Revenue Ops, and Business Systems to build and execute trigger based journeys. You will support the development and evolution of Geotab’s marketing automation program through focus on contact strategy, leads management and program governance. As a data-driven marketer, you will directly inform marketing strategy by supporting full-funnel reporting and review of marketing automation journeys.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Directly support organization objectives by building and deploying strategic campaigns aligned to demand generation, customer engagement, loyalty and retention.

  • Build automated campaigns, sequences, triggers, templates, and segmentation through email, push notifications, and/or in-app/in-product messaging to drive conversion and product adoption.

  • Support program and process evolution. Conduct ongoing testing related to subject lines, email copy, layouts and CTAs that drives conversion improvement.

  • Work with the marketing analytics team to gather funnel insights; oversee generation, engagement, behaviour and conversion.

  • Support ongoing development and optimization of the lead management process, including tracking, scoring and routing.

  • Track marketing automation and email marketing analytics to improve engagement, qualified leads, and ROI.

  • Develop and share program/campaign performance dashboards and reports.

  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data quality.

What you’ll bring to this role
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, marketing technology or related discipline

  • Experience working with Marketing Automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot.

  • A good understanding of email marketing and marketing automation best practices.

  • Knowledge of lead generation, campaign delivery, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation implementation best practices.

  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and email regulations, best practices, and compliance including but not limited to GDPR, CASL etc.

  • Data-driven and highly organized.

  • Practical knowledge of coding for email automation is highly valued; i.e. Ampscript, SQL Query, HTML/CSS & JavaScript.

  • Experience with reporting on campaign performance and providing insights and recommendations.
