Geotab is seeking a Direct Accounts Advisor who will be responsible for the ongoing care of our direct customers and development of new business within those relationships, providing vision for account growth and the associated execution plan. What you’ll do:

As a Direct Accounts Advisor you will focus efforts on account growth with a broad scope, ideally increasing engagement across all parts of the product in addition to expanding device subscriptions, with the ultimate goal of driving both customer satisfaction and revenue.

Geotab’s Direct Accounts are made up of some of our largest and most exciting customers. These customers do not leverage traditional reseller relationships, and require special support to achieve their unique goals with Geotab’s suite of products. These customers are tackling industry level problems in unique ways by applying the capabilities Geotab can offer them.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Function as the reseller to the Direct Customers of Geotab. Be the liaison between, Customers, Finance and Product to ensure our customers' voice is being heard.

  • Manage the customer relationship and help manage allocation of team resources against customer priorities.

  • Create, evaluate, and implement strategic engagement plans for the growth and development of opportunities across direct customers.

  • Devise and deploy all business development goals and objectives pertaining to the growth in existing customer base to additional markets around the globe.

  • Develop a deep knowledge base of the industry and maintain top-of-mind awareness of complexities of multinational accounts and how to meet their needs.

  • Attend trade shows and speak at conferences to build relationships, brand presence, and thought leadership and identify potential new business opportunities.

  • Develop Quarterly Business Reviews with the Signature team for the Direct Accounts.

  • Assist in the creation and follow up on orders, RMAs and tickets as needed.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop short and long term strategic plans to increase the Direct accounts engagement with the Geotab ecosystem.

What you’ll bring to this role
  • 5-8 years experience in enterprise account management or a similar role.

  • Proven track record in developing new business in existing accounts.

  • Experience in the telematics industry.

  • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.

  • Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions.

  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.

  • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.

  • Strong time management skills, an effective multi-tasker.

  • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.

  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
