Support Jira administration, including creation and management of custom, complex projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations.
Work with team to assist in minor and major Jira upgrades (including communications), schedule and coordinate maintenance, and lead performance tuning/scaling.
Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions.
Meet with stakeholders to identify Jira Project needs and implement them as appropriate.
Perform requirements gathering, business process workflows, and process improvement for Jira workflows and processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
Conduct training for employees and new hires on Jira regarding how to use the tools, new functionality, etc.Work with Learning Center Team to develop and compile training materials based on the department’s needs.
Create, maintain and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities.Establish and execute data stewardship and best practices.
Provide User Management and grant user permissions in accordance with company RBAC.
Create and maintain detailed technical and user facing documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise with Jira Projects and workflows.Interact with existing vendors for support and troubleshooting.
Expert level tool administration knowledge on Jira and proficiency in Atlassian tool suite.
Experience with self-hosted environments.
Experience installing and updating Jira plugins using Atlassian SDK is a plus.
Experience as a Jira Administrator in the past where one has customized Jira projects with various schemas. Proficient in Project Setups, Components, Jira Reporting, Report Filters and Dashboard creation.
Excellent problem solving and process implementation skills.
Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in Jira administration
Jira development experience a plus
1+ years of experience in Agile Scrum methodology a plus.
Ability to create custom scripts in Jira to automate workflows and extend base functionality.
Experience developing and deploying custom plugins for Jira.
Experience with Jira APIs and Tool Integration and Jira Configuration Manager.
Jira server maintenance and service management experience.
ITIL Certification and Jira Certification a plus.
Knowledge of applications such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Confluence, Planview, and Saba preferred.
